We're going to proceed to tell you about what NOT to do. While we do this, keep firmly in mind that what we DO want you to do is add links. Lots and lots of them.
A link can can be a link to your personal or business web site or to a site you didn't make but like just the same. It needs to be the complete address with the http:// and everything. Also, please pick a specific category (ie: Business > Finance instead of just Business) that matches your link.
It has to be about Michigan or something in Michigan. Period. No exceptions. You have to draw the line somewhere and that's where we're going to draw it.
It can't (or shouldn't) be one of those spammy, link ridden sites that just have links to other sites (hey, that's what we're here for, right?). Unless of course it's a collection of genuine Michigan links like this ... or this ... or even this.
In any case, our staff of trained internet geniuses will make the final decision on whether a link gets added to Absolute Michigan or not. Likely it will, but we want to prepare you in case your link doesn't get in so you don't feel too sad.
Also, please don't submit multiple links to the same web site (unless they really are to different things). Doing this will upset us and we may do things we'd both later regret.
