Frankenmuth Summer Music Festival, Aug 11-20

The 18th annual Frankenmuth Summer Music Festival opens with a new venue! This unparalleled 10-day celebration of music kicks off August 11 and doesnít stop until August 20, 2005, in one of the most unique German towns youíll find in America.

Enjoy a sensational summer night at the new Harvey Kern Pavilion and Marv Herzog Platz in Frankenmuthís Heritage Park. With headliners like Third Day, FFH, Bobby Vinton and Jimmy Sturr in the confines of historic Frankenmuth, youíre sure to have a great time.

Join us on August 11th @ 7:00pm for the Southern Gospel Concert featuring The Hoppers, Dixie Echoes and The Gospelmen. On Tuesday August 16th @ 7:00pm our Contemporary Christian Concert featuring Third Day & FFH. Also Wednesday August 17th @ 3:00pm featuring Bobby Vinton and special guest Jimmy Sturr.

Polka music from 30 of the nations finest bands fills Heritage Park everyday from August 12th thru the 20th. Such as Lenny Gomulka, Walt Groller, Steve Meisner, Eddie Blazonczyk, The Polish Kid, Gaylord Klancnik, Polka Country Musicians, The Ampol-Aires and many, many more.

Then returning for their 19th consecutive year August 18th thru the 20th are the Fabulous Hubcaps. They will entertain you like non-other you have ever seen with hits from the 50ís, 60ís and 70ís. Their evening starts with a show from 7:30 till 8:30 and then we will clear the dance floor as the Hubcaps will make you want to twist again like we did last summer till 11:30 or beyond. ìRock and Roll is here to stayî.
