Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk, Sept 5th; St. IgnaceThe Mackinac Bridge Authority, the St. Ignace Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Mackinaw Area Chamber of Commerce would like to make your bridge walk as pleasant as possible and offer the following information:There is NO FEE or registration to participate in the walk. Bus transportation from Mackinaw City to St. Ignace is available at $2.00 per person (infants are free). The National Guard and other official personnel will be available in the event of an emergency. When is the walk? Labor Day, Sept. 5, beginning at 7:00 a.m. You may start walking any time after the governor's party starts the walk at approximately 7:00 a.m. No one will be permitted to start after 11:00 a.m, so ARRIVE EARLY.
