ACT to Replace MEAP for Juniors

The Detroit Free Press reports that beginning in 2008, all juniors in Michigan public schools will be required to take the ACT test during their high school career and that the state will pay the cost of the $43 test. The test will replace the MEAP, making Michigan just one of three states that require high school students to take the college-entrance test instead of a state test.
