Coast Guard Cutter May Become Maritime Museum The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that the U.S. House voted unanimously to approve the Coast Guard authorization bill which includes a provision to convey the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Mackinaw to Cheboygan city and county governments for use as a maritime museum. The Senate is expected to vote on the bill in the next 2 months and the Mackinaw is scheduled to be decommissioned next year.
