Rosa Parks Remembered The Detroit News has a special feature on the life and impact of Rosa Parks, who died yesterday at her Detroit home at the age of 92. She and her husband moved to Michigan in 1955 and Parks had a major impact on the city of Detroit, which will host a public memorial to honor Parks on December 1.
