Shoreline Property Owners File with Supreme CourtThe Huron Daily Tribune that Save Our Shoreline (SOS) has filed with the U.S. Supreme Court, alleging that Michigan's Supreme Court "ignored Michigan law" in its decision in Glass v. Goeckel. In July of 2005, the Court held that the public trust doctrine protects people's rights to walk along the shores of the Great Lakes. Five Supreme Court judges would need to agree to review the case.click to
