Robin, Black-Capped Chickadee & Kirtland's Warbler for State Bird

The Lansing State Journal reports that there are bills advocating three Michigan state birds in the Legislature. In addition to the current state bird, the robin (also state bird of Connecticut & Wisconsin), bills are advocating the Kirtland's warbler, which breeds exclusively in Northern Michigan but is only a part-time resident and the black-capped chickadee (claimed by Massachusetts & Maine).
