Michigan Unemployment Falls in 2005, Rises for Last MonthThe Detroit Free Press reports that Michigan's 6.8% average annual unemployment rate for 2005 showed a decline of 0.3 percentage points from 2004's annual rate of 7.1%. Overall, the state lost 24,000 jobs in 2005.
