Bush to GM & Ford: Develop a Product That's RelevantThe Detroit Free Press reports on a Wall Street Journal interview with President Bush. The President discouraged any thought that the federal government might provide a Chrysler-style financial bailout. Bush also called on GM, Ford and others to be careful about backing away from fully meeting pension obligations saying "That's not how the market works and that's not corporate responsibility as I see it.
