Super Cities, Super Fun; Detroit Area Nine of the towns that surround Detroit have been designated "Super Cities" by the Super Bowl XL Host Committee. This allows Ferndale, Windsor, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Ann Arbor, Rochester, Mount Clemens, Troy and Dearborn to hold events that are sanctioned by the Super Bowl's local organizing body.
