Like much of the rest of the world, we are still digesting the startling news that Jerome Bettis is indeed from Detroit.

Seriously, we are very worried that this is the message the rest of the world will take home from Super Bowl XL. We at Absolute Michigan feel that while Mr. Bettis's birthplace is a story, there's a host of other, more compelling stories that could and should be told about the city of Detroit and the state of Michigan.
