Michigan Player's Tour announces 2006 events Amateur and pro golfers will now have a chance to compete and improve their games by staying and playing in Michigan, thanks to the Michigan Player's Tour. The Tour's main goals are to create an environment to help the development of professional players, and to help capture interest in the game of golf throughout all of the Great Lakes region. Five events are scheduled for the the 2006 season with tournaments in Clarkston (Shepherd's Hollow), Acme (The Bear), Grand Rapids (Thousand Oaks), Jackson (The Grande) and Treetops Village (Treetops Resort).
