First Round of Tech Job Funding Draws Surprising InterestMITECHNEWS.COM reports that nearly 800 applications were received by the Michigan Economic Development Corp. from technology, security, alternative energy, life sciences and advanced manufacturing companies in the state seeking a piece of the $100 million up for grabs in the 21st Century Jobs Fund. MEDC spokesman Michael Shore said 791 Letter of Intents were received and "Our office pool topped out at 400, so we were really surprised at the high level of interest in this program."click to
