The East Lansing Children's Film FestivalThe ELCFF is a celebration of film; a cultural activity for Michigan's community now entering its 9th year. The films exhibited display various filmmaking techniques such as: stop-motion, claymation, scratch and finger paint animation, as well as computer-generated imaging. Genres include live action, documentary, shorts and feature length films.Attendees include the Michigan community as well as those traveling from other states to attend the Festival. In addition, international and domestic filmmakers, producers, directors and actors attend the ELCFF. The 2005 festival featured 100 films from 14 countries including the opening night feature "LITTLE LONGNOSE". Little Longnose was the first theatrically released animated film from Russia in over 40 years, directed by Ilya Maximov. TeenREEL, for the 12 and over crowd, kicked off with the premiere of "MILLIONS" (Fox Searchlight). Directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting).
