Volunteers Needed in Southeast Michigan State Parks and Recreation Areas

Volunteers are needed to remove invasive species and to restore native ecosystems protected in select southeast Michigan state parks and recreation areas. All volunteers are required to complete a registration form. Park officials remind volunteers to bring appropriate clothing for outdoor work, including long pants, boots, gloves, eye protection, and drinking water. Appropriate footwear also is required as some sites may be wet throughout the winter.
