Alternative Energy Company Coming to Greenville

News sources around the state are reporting that United Solar Ovonic, a company based in Auburn Hills, will expand and build a new high-tech manufacturing facility in Greenville's industrial park. Parent company Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. is one of the leading U.S. companies developing technologies to make the U.S. less dependent on foreign oil. Michigan has been in stiff competition with South Carolina to secure the deal and is said to have won out due to Greenville's highly skilled workforce.
