Detroit's Golden Age of Cars Revisited DetroitWonk has a great video courtesy of Jalopnik that features some mighty fine Detroit built automobiles. Interesting note is that in the video, host Jeremy Clarkson states that in the 1950's-60's, 97% of all cars purchased in America were built in America and more specifically built in Motown. This lead to an massive economic boon for the area. As the video continues the bad news for Detroit unfolds. Here's hoping for another era of great times and great cars.
