Michigan/Taiwan Teacher Exchange Program Up to 15 Michigan teachers will get the opportunity to teach in Taiwan next year with the signing today in Lansing of an agreement between State Superintendent of Public Instruction Mike Flanagan and the Ministry of Education in Taiwan. It is hoped that an exchange of Taiwanese teachers to Michigan schools in the future will help build global awareness, and second language and culture skills for Michigan children.
