Easter Egg Hunt, April 15; Young State Park

Michigan Newswire reports that children under the age of 10 are welcome to join an Easter Egg Hunt on the shores of Lake Charlevoix at Young State Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15.

Interpreter Maureen Jacobs will guide a nature hike to continue the hunt for some more eggs along the trail. A campfire, hot chocolate and cookies will be served for all participants. Advance registration is not required. Please call 231-582-7523 for additional information.

Young State Park is located in Charlevoix County, west of the Boyne City limits. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance. Cost is $24 for resident annual and $6 for resident daily. A non-resident annual is $29 and a non-resident daily is $8.
