MSU, Spectrum Reach Med School Deal The Freep reports that Michigan State University and Spectrum Health said Tuesday they have reached an agreement aimed at starting a medical school in west Michigan (Grand Rapids). Spectrum Health will invest an estimated $55 million in building support for the medical school and an additional $30 million over the next decade for research.
