Gas Prices Falling for Memorial Day, Still 75 cents Over 2005 The Detroit News reports that although gas prices are falling across Michigan, travellers will be paying over 30% more to fill up this Memorial Day Weekend. AAA Michigan says that an estimated 1.1 million Michiganians will travel during the Memorial Day weekend. An interesting statistic finds that travellers will be more inclined to fly than drive this summer.
