Design Michigan's Next License Plate You're It by Duncan Michigan residents have a chance to contribute to Michigan's automotive heritage by participating in the 2006 License Plate Design Challenge. Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land said, "Michiganians love their state and adore their cars. We're encouraging everyone to show their pride in both by helping to refresh our license plate design. This is a great way to capture the essence of Michigan for the world to see." The winning plate will replace the "Great Lakes Splendor" plate that features a sunrise over the Straits of Mackinac with the Mackinac Bridge in the foreground. It is an alternative to the standard plate, known as "Old Blue," which is also being redesigned. Click the link below for entry details!
