House Signs Off on Alternative Fuel Package MITECHNEWS.COM reports that the Michigan House has signed off on a package of Senate bills aimed at boosting the state's involvement with alternative fuels. House Minority Leader Dianne Byrum said "Investing in ethanol and biodiesel puts Michigan on the road to cheaper fuel prices and independence from foreign oil. Developing these renewable fuels also will boost our agricultural economy."
