Windquest Sails to New Course Record The Detroit News reports that the 86' Windquest was not only the biggest boat in this weekend's Port Huron to Mackinac sailing race, it was also the fastest ... ever. The boat owned by Doug DeVos (brother to Dick) 24 hours, 17 minutes, 38 seconds, a new monohull Southampton course record. The time to complete the 253-mile course was 1 hour, 12 minutes, 8 seconds better than the previous mark.
