DeVos Cracks $10 Million in SpendingMega-millionaire Republican Dick DeVos has eclipsed the $10 million mark in buying TV ad time in his record-smashing campaign spending spree to oust Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a new review by the Michigan Campaign Finance Network shows.The article says that is more money than a Michigan candidate for governor has ever raised and spent, and that the Michigan Democratic Party has spent about $2 million for TV ads for Gov. Granholm. Article has me thinking that a "guess how much DeVos will spend" contest could be fun. It also has me thinking that whoever wrote that lead certainly learned how to write a punchy sentence.
