Report Finds Last 5 Years Brutal for Great Lakes StatesA study to be released today by the Brookings Institution finds that the seven Great Lakes states have lost 1.1 million factory jobs since 2000 - the largest number of jobs to vanish so quickly from any U.S. sector since at least 1939.
