Wings & Tigers Make MovesMichael Rosenberg writes that although top-shelf players were available, Detroit Tigers president & GM Dave Dombrowski made the right move by grabbing 32-year-old, left-handed first-baseman Sean Casey from the Pittsburgh Pirates for minor league pitcher Brian Rogers. While Rogers is not a player of the caliber of Alfonso Soriano, he also didn't cost the team one of its better prosepects.Bob Wojnowski says that while 41-year-old Dominik Hasek has a balky groin, his signing is a solid move by the Red Wings.
