Michigan Wi-Fi Usage Doesn't Live up to Wi-Fi Hype

Detroit Free Press technology guru Mike Wendland writes that lost amid the hype in Michigan about Wi-Fi (wireless Internet) is the fact that the demand for the service is relatively small. For example, since Wi-Fi service was launched last summer at Michigan rest areas, state parks and highway welcome centers, the number of users statewide can be measured in the dozens, rather than the hundreds.
