Wheatland Music Festival; September 5 - 7
The 35th Annual Wheatland Music Festival will be held September 5 - 7, 2008 at the 160 acre Wheatland Music Organization (WMO) property near Remus (Mecosta County midway between Big Rapids and Mt. Pleasant). The goal of the WMO is to serve as a resource center for the preservation and presentation of traditional music and arts, an idea that began with the First Wheatland Bluegrass Festival in 1974

CHRYSLER ARTS, BEATS & EATS plays host to a hot line-up of national and local musical acts on Labor Day weekend, August 29 through September 1, 2008. In its eleventh year, the festival promises the “beats” will reflect the true heart of the metro Detroit area with sounds from nearly every musical genre.
