GM Designers in the classroom
Although Michigan's largest company is having tough times, they are working on some interesting projects. On such program pairs together a GM designer and a College of Creative Studies student in Detroit. Six times a year, the duo visits a local high school and teaches students the basics of automotive design.

Matthaei Botanical Gardens - Ann Arbor
Named after former Michigan regent Frederick C. Matthaei, Sr. and his wife Mildred, who donated 200 acres of land, the Matthaei Botanical Gardens are operated buy the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Spring is a great time to visit and watch the Gardens come to life.
