800 photographers and a Photo Friday: At Miller Hill by whatever264

At Miller Hill by whatever264

I've been watching the number of photographers in the Absolute Michigan group on Flickr as it approached 800 and thought we might reach the big 8-0-0 today in time for Photo Friday. When I logged on this morning I saw that we were indeed there (whoo-hoo!). What's more, the photo was from just down the road from where I live and work, atop Miller Hill in the beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
It looks like whatever264 has just joined Flickr, and he or she has a few photos from the Leelanau/Benzie County area, including a photo of the Betsie Valley Trail in Autumn and another of a rainbow over Crystal Lake.

    It's exciting to see so many photographers in Michigan taking time to enjoy the natural beauty of our state.
