On Saturday June 28, 2008, the Grand Rapids Water Festival will be held at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids.
The daylong concert (11 AM - 10 PM) highlights the finest acoustic music Michigan has to offer including Troll for Trout, Breathe Owl Breathe, Hawks and Owls Stringband, Andy Willey, Seth Bernard & Daisy May and Robin Lee Berry.

Includes brief talks between musical performances about water issues including diversion, pollution and privatization. Presenters will include Mayor George Heartwell, and representatives from West Michigan Environmental Action Council, Clean Water Action, and Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation.

The concert is part of The Water Festival series of concerts being held across Michigan. Concerts are planned for Marquette (date TBA) and for Traverse City (December 12-14, 2008).
