2008 Ann Arbor Folk Festival

Ben Folds by jaywestphotography

Tickets are already sold out for Saturday night at The Ark's Annual Ann Arbor Folk Festival at the Hill Auditorium, but there are still a few remaining for Friday night (Jan 25) featuring headliner Ben Folds, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Shemekia Copeland, Trina Hamlin, Brian Vander Ark and others.

Originally founded in 1965, The Ark has a simple mission:

The Ark is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of the human spirit through the presentation, preservation and encouragement of folk, roots and ethnic music and related arts. The Ark provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all people to listen to, learn about, perform and share music.

You can see more great photos of Ben Folds in this cool set and more work from Jay at jaywestphotography.com.

Thanks to Jeff for reminding me to post something on this - he says that he is EXCITED to see Ben perform!
