Dressing it up for Thanksgiving

Briefcase Brigade by visualthinker

2007 will be the 81st Thanksgiving Parade along Detroit's Woodward Avenue. Today they call it America's Thanksgiving ParadeĀ® and I think there's a dress code.

The photo is Briefcase Brigade by visualthinker and it's just one of the cool photos in our Thanksgiving slideshow to which we hope you'll add your photo as you go over the river and through the woods this year.

Safe travels a very happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Here's our Thanksgiving 2007 masthead:

The production team wanted to go with this alternate one until the UP Division reminded them that the Packers have a huge Michigan following as well!

i have been to the americas thanksgiving parade. i liked the clowns, they make me laugh, the parade weather is always chilly(but who gives) i like how that every year, the parade is brodcasted live on detroit's own WDIV LOCAL 4 NEWS(aka clickondetroit.com). i love the parade reporters, carman harlan, devin scillian, guy gordon, rhonda walker, steve garagiola abd chuck gaidica. we went to the parade like in 1998, or 97. something like that. i always notice that they have some of the same everything, but there adding more to the parade each year, some of the highlights of the parade for me include, the fred hill briefcase drill team(my dad adores them),the distinguished clown corps, the acrobats, the contours(a singing group) and of course santa claus(i am a kid at heart). the parade is fantastic and the parade is a great way to unite w/ your family and have a little fun too as well. so take your kids down, im sure they would love it.
