Somehow or another, we've ended up with both the Sleeping Bear Dunegrass and Blues Festival and the Traverse City Film Festival as clients and I thought we should acknowledge that both events take place next week. What better way than a Tale of the Tape?

What are the dates for the 09 dunegrass? We would like to volunteer once again. Any schedules yet??
There will not be a Dunegrass 2009 as in past years due to poor production management. Grassroots productions has soiled the Dunegrass name. Sorry, please look to another Michigan Festival this year.
That is very sad. I won't make any more comments, as we got what we wanted-to meet some great guests, and to see Arlo.
If this starts up again, would love to consult re:volunteer management. Good Luck and Thanks for a great, great opportunity.
DuneGrass 2009--WILL HAPPEN
Contrary to what you have heard and read in forums or news print and contrary to the post made here by someone on April 21, 2009, DuneGrass 2009 is in the works and a new site has been established and it WILL happen.
PLEASE DO NOT contact the original MySpace DuneGrass site as that is NO LONGER a qualified site for this festival.
Our new web site is dunegrass3.org.
We want to thank everyone who loves DuneGrass and the party continues.

I just heard the news on Friday. We'll get information up about Dunegrass 2009 as soon as possible but to be clear, the post was correct when it was made!

Hats off to Amelia and all the current Dunegrass organizers who are continuing on with Mike Vanderberg's original plan of local music and local talent! Don't get me wrong, I loved the big names, but it's time for a change and get back to the Dunegrass we knew and loved!
By the way, Dunegrass started far before the TC Film Festival!!
