The Ann Arbor Film Festival returns March 24 - 29, 2009. It's the longest-running film festival of its kind in North America and is internationally recognized as a premiere showcase for creative, inspiring, and influential films of all types: avant-garde and experimental, story-based narratives, documentaries, and animation. The New World of Independent Cinema trailer features music by Mark "Why Yes I Was in Devo" Mothersbaugh and was animated by Absolute Michigan Flickr pool member Martin Thoburn.

You can become a fan of the A2FF Facebook page and buy tickets and get all the details at the 47th Annual Ann Arbor Film Festival home page. In addition to a full schedule and film trailers, they have some cool features like How to Festival and the buzz, which shows you what tickets are hot.
