Phil, having been born in 1965 I was 4 years old and remember going out to the crash sight that day with my mother, right after it happened. I know there was one fatality. It crashed on property owned by the late Wilbur Westbrook. Wayne Westbrook owns the land currently. It was in a stand of hardwoods in the Northwest corner of Section 18. This is at the corner of 37rd and 6rd. I'm also looking for additional information concerning this crash. I know the Cadillac Evening News covered this incident because I remember my parents reading the article and showing me the picture. I remember Wilbur speaking of this but it's been so long I don't remember what he said. If you find any additional information please let us know!
