Well, there was supposed to be a Five Things you need to know about Michigan here but my job got in the way. Here's a couple things that would have been here ... you can see why this sort of thing is normally grouped under the "Five Things you need to know about Michigan" headline...
The $10 million Michigan Primary (now with 100% less relevance) is today. Republicans and Democrats alike can cast their ballot for delegates who may or may not count as the national parties punish Michigan for trying to be more a part of national politics. Fox News says that today's primary could make or break Michigan-born Mitt Romney, so I guess there's that.
The 2008 North American International Auto Show is in full swing. I heard Jalopnik editor Ray Wert on NPR yesterday afternoon discussing the level of pageantry in 2008. He was under-impressed, but Jalopnik did post this cool photo of the Dodge Ram "reveal" and cattle drive. Their Detroit Auto Show tag is the place to be for the next week for car nuts.

The Detroit Tigers are considering halting season ticket sales because sales have been so hot based upon their brilliant off-season moves. No word yet on if the Detroit Lions are pondering the same.
