Dig Michigan in August

There's probably no month that is better for exploring the Great Lakes State than August, and all month we'll be highlighting some great things to do in every corner of Michigan.

Because gas prices and a soft economy are getting in the way of some folks' enjoyment, we'll be sure to include activities that are cheap to free. As always, we'll be sure to include events from the Absolute Michigan event calendar, great public parks and plenty of farm-fresh, Michigan grown goodness.

We know that we won't even scratch the surface of all there is to do around the state and we hope that you'll fill in the details and let us know about some of the hidden treasures that you know of in your backyard!

This is program that compares articles on Absolute Michigan. Sometimes the results are a little odd.

please help. I've been trying to find the concert event calender for Pine Knob (apparently GTE now). Haven't had any luck.

My family is coming into Michigan next week and are interested in seeing a concert.

    thanks

It's now called DTE Energy Music Theater and is managed by the Palace I believe.
