This was a really interesting story about urban gardening in Detroit. Reading it made me somewhat sad because of what I already know to be the truth about the virtual absence of major grocery stores in Detroit - especially when compared to the suburbs - but it also exhibiteda lot about the Detroit spirit. Even in the midst of it all, a garden grows.

Great piece.

Listen, if you get a spare moment, please drop by my site. It's pretty new, just about a month old, so I'm still trying to let folks know I'm here. Hopefully you'll find something you like, and if you do perhaps you'll consider adding me to your blogroll? Believe me you're already on mine.

Have a good day, and keep up the good work.
