The US State Department has the complete schedule for President Gerald R. Ford's funeral services. A series of services will be held in California (Friday, Dec 29), Washington DC (Tuesday, Jan 2) and Michigan (Wednesday, Jan 3). In addition, January 2, 2007 has been designated by President Bush as a national day of mourning and government offices will be closed on that day.
The page explains state funerals and the State Dept also has a Gerald R. Ford tribute with photo gallery.

Above photo is from the Gerald R. Ford Library:
President Ford and Great Britain’s Queen Elizabeth dance during the state dinner in honor of the queen and Prince Philip at the White House on July 7, 1976. The royal couple was among dozens of foreign dignitaries who helped the United States celebrate the bicentennial of its founding in 1976. “Our two nations today are working side-by-side in preserving freedom through commitment to a common defense in the Atlantic alliance, in pursuing peace and greater global stability, in seeking the well-being of all peoples through our joint efforts [and] to improve our own societies and to assist the developing nations of the world,” Ford told the British monarch.
The rib was that President Ford was a bit of a klutz... Not sure if you could pull off dancing with the Queen and have two left feet...
There was also that bit about being a pretty decent football player and general all around athlete.
While I was looking for corroborating link, I found this excellent article about Ford and what made him tick (and different from your average politico).
