Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving Glasses

Thanksgiving Curvature by Andrew Morrell

These days there are a lot of powerful forces that conspire to make us feel ungrateful: Michigan's struggling economy, the United States' difficult war in Iraq, our world's tottering environment. In the face of such towering challenges, the Freep's Susan Ager offers a gentle reminder to be thankful for the everyday blessings that fill our lives.

Here's hoping that you have a wealth of blessings and also that our collective gifts will give us the strength and the desire to tackle the tough problems we face.

Happy Thanksgiving, Michigan.

Along with family and friends and health and all, I'd like to give special thanks to all the people who help us tell the story of Michigan through writings and photos and movies and the simple act of reading and talking with us.

    Thank you all!
