Hessel Boat Show

Michigan in Pictures noted that the annual Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show and Festival of the Arts is held every year in Hessel on the second Saturday of August (Saturday, August 12 this year). The show is easily the largest show of antique and classic wood boats in the Great Lakes region and features more than 170 vessels each year. There is also a juried art show with about 75 artists showing and selling their work.

    I would like to have more information about the antique boat festival of wooden boats held each year. What day will it be held and where is it located in Hessel?
