It’s Garden Time in Michigan

Monster Garden by Senor Velasco

Last week's HUB had a nice feature on getting your garden going. In addition to some tips for when to start vegetables (now) and garden size (any size will do) they also list some herbs and vegetables that do particularly well in Michigan.

One of their links is to the Greater Lansing Food Bank Garden Project that offers support to both home and community gardeners in the area to help them to grow and preserve their own fresh vegetables. The site has an excellent list of community gardens in the Lansing area and also a community garden map.

Read Can you dig it? in the Lansing HUB, check out Absolute Michigan keyword "garden" and let us know what you plan to grow in YOUR garden!
