Laurie, let me guess. You live in home with two parents, both business people. You basically live in the life of luxury because your parents are well off. I bet your parents jobs provide health insurance for your family. You and your family have very little contact with the poor or needy. You (after all you weren't born with this prejudice about people on welfare, it's a learned condition probably taught to you by your good parents) and your parents sterotype PEOPLE (human beings) on welfare ALL sit around on their butts and don't want to work. Volunteer to help a few of these people and find out the real truth. They have needs for the same things you do but becuase of many circumstances, they aren't able to change their situation. Grow up.

You do realize there are not facts you can cite to back up most of what you say.

The Governor does not give and take away jobs, and she has been working to help those without jobs and to help them get re-trained.

The Michiganders I know that are middle class with jobs mostly voted for Granholm.

I don't think DeVos would have done a good job and I am glad he did not get elected.

There are 4 more years of Granholm now no matter how you feeel about it, but I think she will do a good job.

I think that Granholm hasnt done any thing for the State of Michigan for the past four years. She has told us that she would make a change and the only thing she has changed is take away michigans jobs. There have been so many people who dont have jobs and cant afford to pay their bills because there is no jobs. DeVos made a promising statement that he would get Michigans jobs back, and Granholm promised that she would keep the schools up to date, well granholm needs to promise more than that because the states got the schools up to task and Devos could do the same, he could get michigan jobs, take care of our schools and one of the biggest things, he could get people off their butts and make the people that are on welfare get a job! The reason why granholm had so many votes is because she bought Detriot One of the biggest cities in Michigan and, she got the mojority of those people votes because most of the residnets there are on welfare and she promised them that she would take the money and let them keep on getting welfare checks and to me thats not fair, they should have to get up off there butts get a job, take care of them selves, and famlies.

i believe that if u want to become a governor u have to know what u are doing such as helping cities that need help such as Flint. Flint need help we dont want to be Known as the poorest city in Michigan or the United States we need help. buildings are being bured down and being messed up and just lefted there... Like Grand Blanc we should be able to build our houses and buildings back up.. but Flint needs help we need a governor who will not play around and not worry about Flint we need a governor who will help Flint and is not afriad to go to Flint and Actually help Flint and schools will need to be build back up some schools are falling apart and nobody is even worrying about it so what i am saying is that a governor needs to know what to do and how to do it which is dealing with children, having better education,and better homes to live in and it should have to take u 5 years it should take less than 5 years before there isn't a Flint anymore. Us People in Flint need help bring our city back and a governor should do that...... bring our city Back
