I am the grandson of Morris Hanzek (known as "Mr. H" to the Depot staff) and whenever we are Up North, we NEVER miss a chance to have breakfast at the Depot. Omelets, homemade toast, blueberry pancakes... all TO DIE FOR. The restaurant is probably best known for its homemade pies though, and for good reason. Lenny, Karen, Chris and all the wait staff at the Depot (especially Laurie and Belinda), God bless you all and keep up the good work. Ditto Chris Pohutsky's comments on the Old Depot. The focal point in the new building is a 1926 Seth Thomas tower clock enclosed in glass for all to view. This unique feature happens drive the cupola clock dial outside on the roof. The Old Depot is a rarity in the restaurant business, as the owners along with their son Chris, are in the kitchen daily, helping to create and prepare the critically acclaimed foods that keep people coming back. Of course, they are not alone in their love of food and hospitality. The dedicated staff, which many have been with The Old Depot for years, is more like family than employees. The Old Depot offers guests a warm, family comfortable, smoke free atmosphere to gather and enjoy classic favorites and exciting new creations.
