Food4Music Events returns to Flint, MI for it's 4th Annual Christmas benefit.

On Saturday, December 27, Food4Music will be featuring a Metal Showcase at The Machine Shop featuring the return of Girl Scout Hand Grenade. Doors are at 7:00PM, show at 8:00PM. The Machine Shop is located on 3539 South Dort Highway just before Atherton Rd. The benefit will also feature: Givensix, Nothing is Sacred, Fernando's Xcursion and Skarrd.

Tix: $8 or $7 w/ food donation. All net proceeds and food items will be donated to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Donate food and have a chance of winning prizes, plus participating in the 50/50 draw for cash winnings.

The Big, Bright Light Show
12/1/2008 - 1/4/2009

This year's show promises to be "bigger" and "brighter." All the buildings on Main Street from the south bridge to University will be covered in over a million points of light, along with East and West Fourth Street. Also, there will be large, lighted displays on Walnut from Third to University, a Dancing Tree of Lights at the Depot Plaza (E. University & Water), and The Snowflake Spectacular on the Western Knitting Mill on Water Street. The Big, Bright Light Show will debut on December 1 during Lagniappe at 7:00 pm. The displays will be lit every evening from December 1 - January 4. Most stores are open Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 9 pm.

On Friday, December 21st, Food4Music will be featuring a Rock Showcase at The Machine Shop featuring Bobaflex. Doors are at 7:00PM, show at 8:00PM. The Machine Shop is located on 3539 South Dort Highway just before Atherton Rd. The benefit will also showcase the finest local talent Flint and area has to offer including: Tension Head, Ghost Of The Muse and With A Kiss.

Secrets are fun to share, especially when they can give you the scoop on a trendy little gallery studio in the heart of downtown Grand Haven.
