Michigan in October

Scary Moon! by kcjacoby

It's a great time to get out and enjoy a beautiful color tour or better yet take advantage of the declining crowds at Michigan's beautiful parks and recreational areas.

Good ideas for day trips include, visiting one of Michigan's many family farms/cider mills to pick your own apples, pumpkins as well enjoy many other family oriented activities.

Culinary driven individuals know this as the season of bountiful harvest, a great time to sample the tasty food, wine and beer that Michigan has to offer.

The Halloween minded can get into the spirit by navigating a corn maze or better yet, testing their "fear factor" by visiting one of the many haunted attractions scattered throughout the state.
