The Michigan State University women's basketball team defeated Kansas, 58-54, in the third round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament at the Breslin Center and the University of Michigan's women's hoops squad dispatched Southern Miss 59-45. Now the Spartans and Wolverines will meet in an all-Big Ten, all-Michigan WNIT quarterfinals on Sunday at 2 PM at the Breslin Center. The two teams split the season series with UM winning the first 64-55 and MSU winning the second 61-58.
